Korry Tauber
DDS, MS
ABO-Board Certified

Dr. Korry Tauber grew up in North Georgia and remembers fondly spending time in the dental office where his mother cleaned his teeth as a dental hygienist. This naturally drew him to the field of dentistry and wanting to create beautiful smiles.

Dr. Tauber graduated from South Forsyth High School in Cumming, GA. He then studied in the Honors College at the University of Georgia where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He pursued his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. While at UNC he was awarded the Robert E. Bryant Public Service Award for developing an oral hygiene education program for both English and Spanish speakers and was recognized by the International College of Dentists as one of the future leaders of the profession. Upon graduating Dr. Tauber was presented the American Association of Orthodontists’ Award for Interest in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honors Society. He was presented the society’s most prestigious accolade the Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence for demonstrating scholarship, character, and promise for advancement of dentistry and service to humanity.

Dr. Tauber went on to complete additional training exclusively in orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center where he earned a Master of Science Degree and Certificate in Orthodontics. During his orthodontic training, he developed a novel survey which aids orthodontists when communicating with patients and families about diagnosis and treatment.

Since returning home to Georgia Dr. Tauber and his wife Jane, a UGA alumna and local school teacher, are grateful to serve the community in which they were raised. Together with their son Jordan and dog Hirshy, Dr. Tauber and Jane enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the UGA football and UNC basketball teams.

Your Orthodontist is Board-Certified

As a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Tauber is backed by the American Board of Orthodontics standards of care. Becoming ABO certified is no easy feat. Only about half of all American orthodontists go through this rigorous academic process that includes a board exam, extensive evaluation, and hundreds of hours of study and practice. Dr. Tauber takes great pride in this certification and prioritizes staying up to date on the latest techniques and innovations. Orthodontics is a rapidly-changing discipline and with Dr. Tauber’s commitment to keeping his skills sharp, you and your family will always be in incredibly capable hands.

Getting Started

First Visit

At your first appointment, our focus is on getting to know you, your kiddo or teen, and their smile goals. You will get the opportunity to meet the friendly team at STABLE Orthodontics and tour our beautiful office.
We will gather records by taking photographs, 3D X-rays, and a digital scan of your teeth. Dr. Tauber will discuss dental and medical history with you and/or your child as well as perform a thorough oral examination to determine the best steps and treatments depending on needs and life stage.
We can answer any questions you have at this time relating to the orthodontic process, insurance, financing, and anything else you can think of!

STABLE Orthodontics is a proud partner of the Scholastic Literacy Program. Studies have shown that the mere presence of books in a child's life, at home and in their communities, profoundly impacts their academic achievement and increases their likeliness to finish college by 20%.

Dr. Tauber has partnered with Scholastic Books in an effort to help build text-rich environments and immerse children in the joy of reading. Our goal is to help provide fun books to children and students in our community to foster a love of reading and improve literacy outcomes for kiddos.
